Aleksandr V. Pigin, Doctor of Philological sciences, Full professor, a leading specialist in  learning manuscripts of the Russian North, manuscript textology, the Old Believers' culture, Old Russian and Folklore traditions in the works of Russian writers of the Modern Age (Dostoevsky, Leskov, Remizov and others), the author of more than 150 articles  and research monographs.
